Intro
P15G is an unmanned gas satellite platform in the P15/P18 area of the Dutch North Sea, installed in 1993. It collects gas from wells in its block and sends unprocessed gas to P15D for conditioning and export.
Field
The P15G platform taps into conventional gas reservoirs within the broader P15/P18 system in shallow Dutch offshore blocks. These reservoirs are linked via satellite platforms into a central processing and export infrastructure.
Facilities
P15G comprises a steel jacket with well slots and pipeline export connections to P15D. The installation lacks major processing equipment, instead including valves, basic metering and remote control systems. Gas is routed through subsea pipelines to the P15D gas treatment and export platform. Utilities support control systems and safety shutdown. Export is integrated through the P15 area pipeline network feeding to shore.
