Intro
Skjold C is the accommodation platform in the Skjold field, bridge-linked to Skjold A. Installed in 1994, it provides living quarters and support facilities for field operations including maintenance and well interventions.
Field
As part of the Skjold oil and gas development, Skjold C supports offshore personnel servicing wells in the local chalk reservoir, complementing the A and B platforms.
Facilities
Skjold C houses accommodation, safety systems, power support, and utilities that serve the Skjold complex. It links structurally to Skjold A, enabling shared access to control rooms and utilities. It does not conduct significant hydrocarbon processing; production fluids are sent to Gorm. The platform includes helideck access, living quarters, emergency power, fire and gas detection, and communications.
