Intro
Skjold B is a bridge-linked wellhead extension platform in the Skjold field, providing additional drilling slots and production access. Installed in 1994, it works in concert with Skjold A on the same field infrastructure.
Field
Serving the Skjold chalk reservoir, Skjold B expands production reach and well count for this east-central Danish North Sea oil and gas field.
Facilities
Skjold B hosts wellheads and supports production drilling into the reservoir, with subsea pipelines exporting multiphase fluids to the Gorm hub or connecting through Skjold A. It shares utility and safety systems with the Skjold complex, including power distribution and remote monitoring. Accommodation and major processing remain offsite, with field fluids routed through the bridge interconnects.
