Intro

Oseberg H is a four-legged jacket wellhead/production facility within the Oseberg field area of the Norwegian North Sea. Brought into service in October 2018, it functions in oil and gas production support roles including wellhead and production duties integrated with the wider Oseberg field infrastructure.

Field

The Oseberg field in the northern North Sea comprises multiple accumulations producing crude oil and associated gas from Jurassic and Triassic sandstones. It represents one of Norway’s major oil provinces, with several interconnected platforms and subsea systems feeding central processing facilities. Oseberg H contributes to producing and gathering hydrocarbons from subsea wells tied into the Oseberg infrastructure complex.

Facilities

Oseberg H is a fixed four-legged jacket surface facility supporting drilling, wellhead, and production functions. It houses production trees, flowlines, and piping tied into the wider Oseberg field network. The platform is equipped with facilities for separation, flow control, injection support, and routing fluids to central processing hubs. Utilities include power distribution linked to the Oseberg central complex, accommodation modules, safety systems, and riser bases for subsea templates. Export routes involve pipelines from Oseberg central to onshore terminals; gas and oil streams are routed through integrated infrastructure for processing and transport.
