The Forties Alpha Satellite Platform is a fixed steel production and processing satellite installed adjacent to the Forties Alpha platform in the Forties oil field, UK North Sea. Installed circa 2013, it adds well slots and capacity, supporting additional oil and gas production linked to the Alpha processing hub.

Field
The Forties oil field is a large Paleocene sandstone oil reservoir in the UK North Sea, producing oil since 1975. It comprises multiple fixed platforms feeding processed hydrocarbons to Cruden Bay and onward via the Forties Pipeline System.
Facilities
The satellite platform provides additional production wells (~18 slots) tied directly to Forties Alpha via a ~90-m bridge. It integrates production manifolding, separation and basic processing modules with lift gas compression and additional power generation to augment the Alpha hub capacity. Well fluids are routed to Forties Alpha for detailed crude and gas separation. Power systems include turbines and generators supplying both local utilities and supplemental capacity to the Alpha complex. Safety systems include independent fire and gas detection, emergency shutdown valves and integration into the Forties central control architecture. Export infrastructure routes blended fluids through Alpha's separators and onward to Cruden Bay via the FPS. Accommodation for minimal crew during maintenance is provided with helideck access.
