The Babbage platform comprises a jacket and topside hosting well slots and remote-operated production equipment for dry gas. Wells are completed with Xmas trees, flow control, and safety valves, with production fluids routed to subsea manifolds and flowlines connecting into West Sole Bravo area infrastructure. Gas is exported via existing regional pipelines to shore (e.g., Bacton/Sheringham). The installation is unmanned with remote monitoring and control; utilities comprise power for instrumentation, emergency shutdown systems, chemical injection for corrosion/hydrate control, and fire & gas detection. There is no significant on-platform processing; gas flows through minimal separation and metering before export. The platform's design supports long-term remote operation with periodic intervention vessels and helicopter support.
