Caravel QR sits on a single-leg monotower jacket with well conductors terminating at Xmas trees and basic manifolds. There is no significant hydrocarbon processing; produced fluids are routed via a subsea pipeline (typically 36.6-km) to the Leman Alpha hub for liquids removal, compression, dehydration and export to shore. Onboard utility systems are minimal, limited to remote-operated shutdown valves, chemical injection for hydrate and corrosion control, and power for control instrumentation. Safety systems include fire & gas detection and ESD logic tied via umbilicals to Leman Alpha remote control. The installation is unmanned, with access for maintenance via crew transfer and helicopter landing scheduled as needed. The simplified design reflects small-field economics with reliance on central processing at Leman Alpha, including compression and metering facilities.
