Sevan Hummingbird FPSO
The Sevan Hummingbird FPSO (also known historically as Hummingbird Spirit) is a floating production, storage and offloading vessel deployed in the Chestnut oil field, UK North Sea. Built and installed in 2008, it produced oil with onboard storage and processing and exported crude via shuttle tankers until disconnection and removal commenced around 2022.

Field
The Chestnut oil field lies in UK Blocks 22/02a and produces crude oil with associated gas. The field development included subsea wells tied back to the FPSO, which handled production, separation, and storage offshore while exporting oil to market via shuttle tankers.
Facilities
The Sevan Hummingbird FPSO hull supports mooring and turret systems, crude processing trains including separators, hydrocyclones and treaters, produced water handling, and gas management systems. Hydrocarbons from subsea wellheads are routed to onboard separation and stabilization before storage in the hull. Export to market occurs via shuttle tankers. Utilities include power generation, HVAC, fire & gas detection, ESD systems and flare stacks. Storage capacity was ~270,000-bbl with production capacities tailored to field size. The FPSO's turret allows weathervaning around the mooring point. Control systems integrated production and safety functions. During decommissioning starting mid-2020s, risers were disconnected and the vessel prepared for departure.
