Ninian Central
Ninian Central is a concrete gravity base structure (CGBS) oil production platform in the Northern North Sea, first installed in May 1978. It serves as the core hub of the Ninian field complex, processing oil and associated gas from multiple reservoirs and satellite installations, with export interfaces to the Brent System.

Field
The Ninian field, in UKCS Blocks 3/2, 3/3, 3/7 and 3/8, produces oil from Middle Jurassic Brent Group sandstones. Discovered in 1974, the field was developed with multiple platforms, with Central acting as the primary production and processing hub.
Facilities
Ninian Central's CGBS supports topsides containing drilling, oil and gas separation trains, gas compression and dehydration units, crude booster pumps, metering systems and accommodation. It gathers fluids from Ninian Southern, Northern and subsea satellites. Crude oil is exported via the 36" MOL pipeline to Sullom Voe. Gas from Brent and associated fields is compressed, dehydrated and exported through gas pipelines to St Fergus. Utilities include power generation, water handling, and control systems for distributed processing. Redundant safety and control equipment provide emergency shutdown and fire/gas detection. Produced water is treated to discharge standards or reinjected. Central also serves as a reception and export hub for associated fields like Statfjord and Magnus via inter-platform pipelines.
