Forties FE
Forties Echo (FE) is a fixed steel jacket satellite platform in the Forties oilfield, installed in July-1986. It does not house significant processing plant, exporting oil and gas production via pipeline to Forties Alpha (or Charlie) for central processing. FE provides additional well slots and gathering capacity within the field.

Field
The Forties field comprises several Paleocene sandstone reservoirs with prolific oil and associated gas. FE was the last of the five principal platforms constructed, supporting additional production capacity and integrating into the field's broader network, contributing fluids to central process hubs.
Facilities
Forties Echo's jacket supports production wellheads and gathering manifolds. It lacks significant topside processing modules; instead, multiphase fluid streams are routed via subsea pipelines to Forties Alpha (FA) or Charlie for separation, dehydration and export. Utilities are minimal: control systems, remote monitoring, chemical injection units and safety systems (emergency shutdown, fire/gas detection). Echo power is supplied via the Forties electrical ring from Alpha and Delta. Accommodation is limited and the installation is generally not permanently manned. FE integrates satellite production into the field's centralized processing and export framework, contributing to export via the Forties Pipeline System.
