Claymore A
A fixed steel jacket production and drilling platform in the Claymore field offshore the UK Central North Sea. Installed in 1977 and on production from 1977, it functions as a central processing hub in the field, connected by a bridge to the accommodation platform.

Field
The Claymore oilfield, in Block 14/19 northeast of Aberdeen, is a mature oil and gas field discovered in the 1970s, producing from conventional reservoir formations. It also hosts subsea tie-backs such as Scapa, Golden Eagle and Tartan developments and exports crude to the Flotta terminal.
Facilities
The Claymore A platform accommodates multiple production wells, water injection and gas lift wells. Onboard process facilities include primary separation and produced water treatment. Gas can be used for lift or exported, and oil is exported via pipeline to the Flotta oil terminal. A dedicated gas compression and dehydration system conditions gas streams. The CPP platform integrates power generation, utilities, control systems and safety infrastructure. It also serves as a hub for subsea tie-backs, with control umbilicals, subsea manifolds and flowlines. Accommodation and utilities are provided on the connected Claymore Quarters platform.
