Brittania
A large fixed steel jacket production, drilling, processing and accommodation platform offshore in the UK Central North Sea. Installed for first production in 1998, it processes gas, condensate and oil and provides a hub for satellite field tie-backs. It is linked to a bridge-linked platform and subsea manifolds, with export infrastructure to onshore gas and oil terminals.

Field
The Britannia field lies ~210 km northeast of Aberdeen in Blocks 15/29a, 15/30a, 16/26a and 16/27b in the UK Central North Sea. Discovered in the mid-1970s, it produces from a gas-condensate reservoir within the Britannia Formation. It also serves as the host for adjacent satellite developments including Brodgar, Callanish, Enochdhu, Alder and Finlaggan.
Facilities
A large integrated fixed platform hosts wells drilled from the platform and subsea manifolds tied back to the topsides. Wells feed multiphase fluids to separation, dehydration and compression systems on the main topsides. Gas export is via the Britannia Gas Pipeline to the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) facility at St. Fergus, and condensate/oil export uses the Forties Pipeline System to Grangemouth. Power generation, water handling and utility systems support processing and accommodation functions. The bridge-linked platform and subsea manifolds facilitate extended development and provide risers and control umbilicals. The design emphasizes robust processing for gas and liquids from multiple fields, extensive separation train capacity, gas compression, produced water treatment and accommodation utilities.
