WB features around 16 well slots (production wells) feeding its production facilities. Fluids from wells are routed through manifold headers to initial separation and then into export lines. Like WA, WB historically exported gas directly via a 24-inch pipeline (~70-km) to Easington Gas Terminal and also supported satellite well connections. WB's architecture includes steel jacket legs supporting topsides with drilling modules, well control systems, flowlines, export spool bases, and metering. Utilities comprise power generation for electrical distribution, emergency shutdown and safety systems (fire / gas detection), and control systems integrated with the West Sole field's control network. Chemical injection systems support flow assurance. As part of the larger West Sole infrastructure, WB interfaces with Hyde, Hoton and subsea tie-backs to maximize reservoir recovery and export capacity.
