Valiant South forms part of the V-fields complex, collecting gas from several well slots and routing it into the LOGGS export infrastructure. Although specific processing on Valiant South itself is limited (typically focused on wellhead functions), the platform supports subsea tree controls, flow metering and tie-ins that deliver gas via pipelines to nearby LOGGS hubs. The LOGGS system gathers and conditions gas from multiple Southern North Sea fields before onward transport to the now-decommissioned Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal for processing and grid injection. Utility systems on Valiant South include electrical power for control systems, emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection, and communications linked to host LOGGS facilities. Because the platform is usually unmanned, routine control and monitoring is performed remotely from shore or via adjacent host installations.
