Field
Part of the North Sean accumulation of the Sean field, developed concurrently with South Sean infrastructure. Reservoir gas flows through RD to central processing for export to onshore terminals. (turn0search23)
Facilities
RD contains six well slots, with typical production from two wells tied-back through subsea risers to the platform's manifolds. Wells are organized to deliver gas via the ~4.7-km 20- PL310 pipeline to the PD/PP complex for compression and processing. RD functions as a normally unattended installation (NUI) with limited topside processing, relying on PP utilities for dehydration and export conditioning. Structural supports include a six-leg steel jacket, riser bases, and subsea flowline connections with umbilical controls to PP. Utilities are minimal, focused on remote monitoring, emergency shutdown, and safety systems. Gas from RD ultimately reaches PP and enters the 106.5-km PL311 trunkline (30-) to the Bacton Gas Terminal. (turn0search23)
