Field
Serves the South Sean reservoir segment of the larger Sean gas field. Gas production is routed through PP for conditioning (separation, dehydration) before export via the PL311 pipeline system to the UK's Bacton Gas Terminal. (turn0search23)
Facilities
PP hosts primary separation vessels, dehydration units (glycol contactors), metering runs and export interfaces. Gas arriving from PD compression and RD via in-field pipeline PL310 (20- × ~4.7-km) enters PP for bulk removal of liquids, then moves into export headers conveying gas to the shore. PP also provides accommodation and utilities (power generation, HVAC, safety systems, control DCS/SCADA) for operations personnel. The structure comprises an eight-leg steel jacket in ~30-m water depth, topside drilling support, well testing areas, and manifold headers for PD and RD connections. Utility systems include chemical injection, produced water handling, fire and gas detection, and emergency shutdown facilities. Export compression duties are shared with PD, but PP focuses on dehydration and conditioning to meet pipeline specification. Processed gas reaches the PL311 export line to Bacton, linking with UK national grid inputs. (turn0search23)
