DP8 supports multiple production wells flowing gas via jack-mounted manifolds into subsea pipelines tied back to the South Morecambe Central Production Complex. No primary separation occurs on DP8; fluids are delivered to the CPC where bulk separation, dehydration and metering prepare gas for export via dedicated export pipelines to the Barrow Gas Terminal onshore. Topside equipment on DP8 includes flowlines, wellheads, remote monitoring/control systems, emergency shutdown and minimal utility systems. Power and control signals are provided from the CPC via subsea umbilicals. DP8's infrastructure integrates with the South Morecambe field network, enabling efficient gathering of multiple well streams for centralised processing and export.
