Clipper PC is a fixed steel compression platform within the Clipper gas complex in UK Block 48/19a, installed as part of the Clipper development around 1990. PC provides gas compression to condition production for export to the Bacton Gas Terminal. It is bridge-linked to other Clipper platforms including PT and PW.

Field
The Clipper gas field lies in the UK southern North Sea's Sole Pit area. Discovered in 1968, it produces from Lower Permian Leman Sandstone reservoirs. Operations commenced around 1990, with the hub handling production from Clipper and adjacent fields. Gas is exported via the Clipper pipeline to Bacton.
Facilities
PC houses multi-stage centrifugal compressors that increase gas pressure for export and processing stability. Gas arriving from the PW wellhead and PT production platforms is routed through bulk liquid separators and dehydration systems (located on PT or shared facilities) before entering compression trains on PC. Compression systems include drivers, intercoolers, suction scrubbers, and control valves, with integrated safety shutdown systems and high-integrity pressure protection. PC's topsides include electrical distribution fed by onboard generators or power links, control and instrumentation panels, and platforms for maintenance access. Utility systems include instrument air, cooling water, and firewater/deluge networks. Bridge links connect PC to adjacent platforms facilitating personnel movement and shared services. Export pipeline connections and pigging facilities are coordinated with the broader Clipper hub, ensuring continuous gas export to shore. The structural design supports long-term fixed operations in 34 m water depth.
