Barque PB contained gas compression trains designed to boost processed gas pressure prior to export. Gas processed on PL was routed via bridge-linked pipework to PB, where multi-stage compressors increased pressure to meet pipeline specifications. Compression systems included suction scrubbers, coolers, and control valves with integrated safety shutdown. Utilities such as power generation, cooling, and instrument air were either housed on PB or supplied via PL. Fire and gas detection, deluge systems, and emergency shutdown valves provided safety coverage. Export pipelines connected the Barque complex to onshore gas terminals. The platform's fixed steel structure was designed for continuous operation and close integration with PL until cessation of production.
