Montrose BLP supports production and processing operations linked to Montrose Alpha. Facilities include separation equipment handling well fluids routed from Alpha, oil treatment and stabilization systems, and produced water handling. Processed oil is exported via pipeline to the Forties Pipeline System. Associated gas is treated and exported or used for fuel. Utilities on BLP include power generation, electrical distribution, instrument air, firewater and deluge systems, and control and monitoring systems integrated with Alpha. The bridge link allows shared access to utilities, personnel movement, and maintenance activities. Safety systems include fire and gas detection, emergency shutdown systems, and lifeboats. The platform's fixed steel structure and topsides are designed for long-term oil production and integrated hub operations within the Montrose complex.
