Fixed steel-jacketed production platform in the Norwegian North Sea, commissioned for the Oseberg South field. It combines drilling, production and accommodations and interfaces with the Oseberg Field Centre for processing. Connected via pipeline to the main Oseberg complex, it integrates with the broader transport network.

Oseberg South Field - Discovered in 1984 and producing since 2000, this northern North Sea oil accumulation lies just south of the main Oseberg field. Reservoirs are Jurassic sandstones across multiple accumulations, developed with a fixed PDQ platform and subsea templates. It is tied into the Oseberg Field Centre for secondary processing and export.

Facilities

Oseberg Sør's facilities include drilling slots for up to ~30 wells, first-stage separation, water handling, accommodation facilities, power generation, and utility systems (water treatment, gas handling, HVAC). The platform connects subsea templates (production and injection), and its wellstreams are routed through flowlines to the Oseberg Field Centre for higher-stage separation and stabilization. Gas from Oseberg Sør is handled through the shared Oseberg processing facilities, with export via the Oseberg Transport System (OTS) to the Sture terminal for oil and via OGT/Statpipe to continental markets. Utilities include platform gas turbine generators, water injection systems for reservoir support, chemical dosing, fire and safety systems, and control systems interfaced with the Oseberg Field Centre supervisory infrastructure.
