Oseberg A is a concrete base production and accommodation platform forming part of the Oseberg Field Centre in the northern North Sea. Installed in the late 1980s, it handles production processing and export preparations for oil and associated gas.

Field
The Oseberg field lies ~140-km northwest of Bergen, discovered in 1979, producing oil and gas from multiple Jurassic reservoir intervals. It is one of Norway's major oil provinces.
Facilities
Oseberg A's concrete base supports topside modules for fluid separation, stabilisation, gas dehydration and export metering. It interfaces with Oseberg B (drilling/injection) and Oseberg D (gas processing) via bridges. Combined oil and condensate are routed into the Oseberg Transport System (OTS) to the Sture terminal; gas enters the Oseberg Gas Transport (OGT) and allied export systems (Statpipe/Vesterled). Facilities include power generation, utilities for produced-water handling and water injection support, flare and emergency shutdown systems, and accommodation for offshore personnel. Integrated process controls manage field operations and subsea tie-backs.
