Gullfaks B
Gullfaks B is a concrete gravity base platform on the Gullfaks field in the northern North Sea, installed in 1987 and producing from early 1988. It performs drilling, production and accommodation duties and is a mid-field facility within the Gullfaks complex.

Field
The Gullfaks field produces oil with gas from stacked reservoir intervals in the Brent and Statfjord groups. Gullfaks B sits between A and C in field layout and supports integrated field operations.
Facilities
Gullfaks B hosts multiple production wells and basic separation equipment feeding stabilized fluids to Gullfaks A and C for storage and export. Its topsides include drilling facilities, separators, well services and utilities. Oil and condensate flows are piped to adjacent platforms; gas is routed into Statpipe for processing. Utilities include power generation, produced and injection water handling, flare systems and accommodation. Gullfaks B's structural design supports long-term offshore service with robust corrosion and structural integrity systems, interfacing with shared control and export infrastructure across the Gullfaks complex.
