Draugen
Draugen is a fixed concrete gravity base platform in the Norwegian Sea producing oil with associated gas since 1993. The monolithic structure supports integrated topsides and stores stabilised oil in base tanks for export. Two pipelines connect the installation to a floating loading buoy for shuttle tanker uptake.

Field
The Draugen field, discovered in 1984, is developed in ~250-m water depth on the Norwegian continental shelf. It produces oil primarily from Late Jurassic (Rogn) and Middle Jurassic (Garn) sandstones. Reservoirs are relatively homogeneous and produced via water injection and aquifer support.
Facilities
Draugen's GBS supports multiple production and water-injection wells. Oil is stabilised and stored at the base before export via shuttle tankers from the floating buoy system; associated gas predominantly fuels on-platform power generation with some exported through the Åsgard Transport System (Ã…TS). The integrated topsides house separation, desalting and basic gas handling; utilities include power generation, produced water treatment and control systems. Subsea tie-backs from additional discoveries feed the host platform. The concrete structure is designed for long-term durability in harsh seas with robust foundations and comprehensive safety and emergency systems.
