Hod B is designed as a compact production and wellhead platform with facilities to support oil production from new development wells. The installation includes well control systems, basic separation, and metering before export. Produced fluids are transported via subsea pipeline to the Valhall field for full processing and export. The platform is normally unmanned and operated remotely, with utilities, power, and control integrated with Valhall's infrastructure. Safety systems include emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection, and remote monitoring. The redevelopment leverages existing regional infrastructure to minimize new processing facilities while enabling long-term recovery from chalk reservoirs.
