Ekofisk L (Ekofisk 2/4-L) is a fixed offshore accommodation and support platform in the Ekofisk complex of the southern Norwegian North Sea. Installed in 2014 as part of Ekofisk growth projects, it replaced older living quarters (Ekofisk H and Q) and provides housing and utilities for personnel working across Ekofisk installations.

Field
Ekofisk is a major oil and gas field in the Norwegian North Sea, discovered in 1969 and producing since 1971. Reservoirs are fractured chalk of the Tor and Ekofisk Formations at ~3,000-m depth. The field includes multiple production and injection facilities maintained through continuous water injection.
Facilities
Ekofisk L serves primarily as personnel accommodation and support rather than hydrocarbon processing. Positioned within the Ekofisk 2/4 complex, it houses living quarters, utilities, safety systems, and operational support functions for interconnected production platforms. Accommodation modules provide cabins, mess and recreation areas, medical facilities, control interfaces for utilities, and emergency systems. Power distribution is integrated with the Ekofisk area grid and supplemented by onboard generation for redundancy. The platform interfaces structurally via bridges and subsea utilities with neighboring installations, enabling worker transfers and shared services. Ekofisk L contributes to stable field operations by centralizing personnel support, safety functions, and logistical facilities for the wider Ekofisk network.
