Valhall PH
Valhall PH is the combined Process and Hotel platform at the Valhall oil field in the southern Norwegian North Sea. Installed as part of the field's redevelopment to replace older facilities, PH processes oil and gas and provides accommodations. It is bridge-linked to other Valhall platforms and supplied with power from shore.

Field
The Valhall field, discovered in 1975, produces oil from chalk reservoirs in the Tor and Hod formations at ~2,400-m depth. It lies in ~70-m water depth and has been in production since 1982, with extensive redevelopment adding multiple platforms and extending field life toward 2050.
Facilities
Valhall PH is one of a complex of interconnected platforms including wellhead, water injection, and flank installations. Processing systems on PH handle crude oil stabilization, gas treatment, and produced water management, integrating fluid streams from numerous production wells drilled from wellhead and flank platforms. Utilities include power from shore via subsea cable, redundant power generation, water injection facilities, and advanced control and safety systems. Oil is exported via a pipeline to the Ekofisk complex and onward to markets, while associated gas is routed to the Norpipe system. The PH facility also provides living quarters, integrated control rooms, and support systems for field personnel. Structural design accommodates chalk reservoir characteristics and North Sea environment, with accommodation modules, bridge links, and helideck facilities for logistics.
