Q10-A is a small unmanned production platform in the Q10-A gas field, offshore the Netherlands, commissioned in 2019. It produces natural gas and facilitates export to nearby processing facilities via subsea pipeline connections rather than full onboard processing.

Field

The Q10-A gas field is a conventional offshore gas field in the Dutch North Sea, discovered in the 1970s and developed with modern infrastructure beginning ~2018-2019. It produces gas from multiple reservoir units including Zechstein and Slochteren formations.

Facilities

Q10-A is designed primarily as a host platform for production wells and subsea tie-backs; it does not house extensive processing modules. Gas from wells on Q10-A is routed via a ~42-km subsea pipeline to a third-party processing platform (P15-D) where separation, dehydration and compression occur before export to onshore networks. The platform's topsides include wellheads, manifolds and flow control systems. Utility infrastructure on Q10-A is minimal, supporting power for well control, safety systems and remote communications. The development leverages existing pipeline infrastructure to minimize onsite processing equipment, with gas export integrated into regional pipeline systems.
