M07-A is an unmanned gas production platform in the Dutch sector of the North Sea, commissioned in 2009 to develop the M07 conventional gas field. It produces natural gas and minor condensate, exporting unprocessed gas via pipeline to a host installation for treatment and onward export.

Field

The M07 field lies in the Terschelling Basin of the southern Dutch North Sea, with gas accumulations in Volpriehausen and Jurassic formations. Discovered in the 1990s, it is developed with remote platforms and subsea wells feeding processing hubs.

Facilities

M07-A comprises a monotower structure with well slots and remote control instrumentation. It hosts multiple production wells with gas and condensate flowlines tied into a subsea export pipeline feeding to the NAM-operated L09-FF platform, where further separation and conditioning occur before export ashore. On-platform facilities are minimal, focused on flow control, metering, and safety systems (ESD, remote monitoring). Power is provided by renewable generation (solar and wind) with diesel backup for maintenance. Because it is unmanned, visits are periodic for servicing and interventions. The platform supports stable export operations into the Dutch gas network via NOGAT.
