Field
The K7 field produces natural gas from Rotliegendes sandstone reservoirs within the Southern North Sea. As part of the K7-K12 group, the field is developed through multiple linked platforms and subsea pipelines. Hydrocarbons are collected at satellites like K7-FB and routed to processing hubs such as K7-FA-1 and onward connections to K8 installations.

K7-FB comprises wellhead slots for production wells that connect via subsea flowlines to the main K7-FA-1 host. It lacks significant processing and relies on upstream separation and compression at the host. The platform's topsides are minimal, typically including manifold structures, well control, and metering. Export of unprocessed gas occurs through dedicated pipelines to K7-FA-1. Auxiliary systems include electrical power distribution from the host tie-in, basic utilities for well operations, and remote monitoring/control systems. Its fixed jacket supports well risers and flowlines; water depth in this part of the Southern North Sea is shallow to moderate.
