Field
The L05-C gas field is a conventional offshore gas accumulation in the Netherlands discovered in 2003 and brought into production by 2006. The reservoir is Rotliegendes sandstone, typical of Southern North Sea gas fields, and has proven extractable gas reserves in the low billions of cubic meters.
Facilities
L5-C hosted production wells tied into topside separation/conditioning equipment and subsea export infrastructure via pipeline to a larger processing hub such as L8-P4. Facilities included basic gas separation and metering for export, chemical injection for hydrate control, and remote operation utilities. Power was provided by small diesel generators supporting unmanned control systems. The installation functioned as a satellite node in a broader cluster development, with export via subsea pipelines feeding into regional high-pressure networks.
