Field
The A12 field is a conventional shallow gas accumulation in the Dutch sector, discovered in 1988 and brought into production in 2007. Reservoirs comprise deltaic sands with recoverable gas resources, forming part of the broader A&B blocks shallow gas system.
Facilities
A12-FA's facilities include multiple production wells feeding into topside separation, dehydration, and metering trains. The platform processes raw gas from stacked sands, conditioning it to pipeline specifications before export through the A6-F3 and NOGAT pipeline systems to onshore markets. Produced condensate is stabilized and co-exported. Utility systems include platform power generation, water and fire systems, and integrated control and safety systems (DCS, ESD). The central processing design supports long-term shallow gas production and ties in satellite wells and infrastructure via subsea flowlines, forming a stable hub in the northern Dutch offshore shallow gas network.
