Field
The L4-L7 gas fields form a contiguous gas-bearing system in the Dutch North Sea, developed since the 1970s with multiple platforms. Production is primarily from Rotliegend sandstones. L4PN supplements production from the L4 portion of the field, enhancing reservoir drainage.
Facilities
L4PN functions as a collection platform feeding gas to larger processing and export hubs. It hosts satellite wellheads and associated manifold systems; it does not include full separation or compression facilities. Fluids are routed via subsea or bridge-linked pipelines to main platforms such as L4A or onward to regional processing centers. L4PN supports basic power and control infrastructure for safe unmanned operation, with main utilities provided at central platforms. Gas export flows through integrated pipeline networks to shore via regional hubs.
