The reservoir targeted by K4BE is part of the K4b gas accumulations in shallow North Sea waters. These conventional gas reservoirs are developed with multiple unmanned platforms producing to central facilities.
Facilities
K4BE has a steel jacket and topsides configured for well access, flow control, and pipeline export to a primary processing hub. No major separation or compression equipment resides on the platform; it functions as a wellhead and manifold station. Gas is metered and sent through subsea pipelines to larger installations where separation, dehydration, and compression occur. The platform's utilities are limited to remote control, shutdown systems, and minimal electrical supply for communication and instrumentation.
