Horizon's facilities included production wells and manifolds feeding into onboard primary separation trains, crude stabilization, and metering. Associated gas processing or export was arranged through nearby installations or tie-ins where required. Utilities comprised platform power generation, water and fire systems, accommodation for crew, and integrated controls. Export of stabilized crude was via subsea pipeline networks to onshore terminals. The facility was designed for long-term oil production with regular maintenance access via vessel or helicopter. During decommissioning, well plugging and abandonment, topside and jacket removal, and seabed remediation are being executed per regulatory plans.
