Field
The K8 field is centred on a Rotliegendes sandstone gas reservoir developed with K8-FA-1 as the principal hub. Satellites like K8-FA-2 gather production from wells drilled off the main centre and feed into central processing and export routes, forming an integrated field development.
Facilities
K8-FA-2 accommodates well slots and manifold structures that collect production from its drilled wells. Flowlines tie back to K8-FA-1 where separation, compression, and dehydration occur. The platform's topside facilities are minimalistic, focusing on well control, metering, and flow assurance equipment. It interfaces with host utilities for power and control communications. The jacket supports well risers and manifold bases; export infrastructure consists of subsea pipelines back to the hub. Remote monitoring and integrated safety systems allow coordinated operations across the K8 cluster.
