K6N
K6N is another small satellite platform in the Dutch North Sea K06 gas field cluster. It serves as a production wellhead and tie-in point feeding into the central K6 complex. Unmanned in operation, it is part of the wider K6 production infrastructure developed in the early 1990s.

Field
The K06 field complex encompasses several conventional gas reservoirs in block K06 of the Dutch continental shelf. These produce from shallow marine sandstone and carbonate sequences typical of Dutch Permian and Triassic stratigraphy. The field includes main production and riser platforms with satellite wellhead platforms like K6N, facilitating reservoir drainage and tie-backs.

K6N is configured primarily as a wellhead satellite platform, hosting one or more production wells tied back to larger processing facilities in the K6 central complex. It lacks standalone processing; incoming fluids are routed via subsea lines to central processing on the K6P or K6-C towers where separation, compression and dehydration occur. Export from the central complex typically uses regional pipeline networks. Satellite platforms like K6N feature basic power and control systems to operate safety and flow control equipment. There is no accommodation module on K6N as it is designed for unmanned operation.
