K15-FB-1

Field
The K15 field is part of the Southern North Sea's K14-K18 gas province, producing from Rotliegendes sandstone reservoirs. Developed in the late 1970s, the field comprises central production platforms and satellites tied into shared export infrastructure. Its lifecycle reflects mature development across decades.
Facilities
K15-FB-1 hosts a suite of production wells with manifold systems routing hydrocarbons to topside separators to strip water and condensate. The platform includes initial dehydration and compression to condition gas for export. Gas export utilizes subsea pipelines into the wider Dutch gas network and connectivity to K14 processing hubs. Satellites such as K15-FC-1, K15-FG-1 and K15-FK-1 send unprocessed flows to K15-FB-1 for integration. Utilities include diesel and gas turbine power generation, produced-water management, chemical injection systems, and integrated control systems for safety and flow assurance. Structural design is a fixed steel jacket with riser supports, helideck and flare stack. Stable infrastructure features are robust flowlines, export metering and corrosion protection systems.
