K12-BP
K12-BP is a fixed normally unmanned gas production and gathering platform in the K12 block of the Dutch North Sea, installed circa 1981. It forms a core node in the K7-K12 field network, collecting gas from satellite platforms and routing it onward into central processing and export pipelines.

Field
The K7-K12 gas fields are extensive shallow-water gas accumulations in the Dutch sector, with Rotliegendes sandstone reservoirs. K12-BP is one of the primary collection points developed to optimize recovery and export.
Facilities
K12-BP's infrastructure includes production wells, manifolds, and inter-platform flowlines gathering gas from satellites like K12-BD and others. The platform supports flow metering and basic conditioning before export. Control and safety systems are designed for unmanned operation with remote supervision, using generator sets for power to communications and control. Utility systems include instrument air, fire/gas detection, and emergency shutdown. Export pipelines link K12-BP into the broader Dutch Continental Shelf gas transport network. Periodic maintenance and inspection sustain structural and pipeline integrity, with topside access provided by service vessels. Integration of subsea flowlines and corrosion protection systems ensures long-term stable operation.
