The TEN fields lie about 60 kilometres offshore western Ghana in the Deepwater Tano area of the Tano Basin. Enyenra, Ntomme and Tweneboa contain Upper Cretaceous deep-water turbidite sandstone reservoirs developed as slope channels, frontal splays and related depositional systems. Facilities

The approved full-field TEN concept comprised 24 subsea wells, combining oil and gas producers with water- and gas-injection wells; ten wells were required for first oil. Production is gathered through subsea trees and manifolds, then carried by flowlines and flexible risers to the Professor John Evans Atta Mills FPSO. Electro-hydraulic umbilicals provide power, chemicals, communications and well-control functions. The subsea installation placed substantial manifolds, pipelines and control equipment across the three fields. The FPSO’s modular topsides separate oil, gas and produced water, stabilise crude, compress associated and produced gas, treat water and supply high-pressure injection water. Gas systems support fuel, reservoir injection and export. Supporting facilities include process and export metering, chemical injection, onboard electrical generation, flare and pressure relief, firewater, fire-and-gas detection, emergency shutdown, integrated process and subsea controls, seawater lift, cargo handling and accommodation. The converted tanker stores approximately 1.7 million barrels of crude. A SOFEC external turret is held by a three-by-three mooring arrangement and permits the hull to weathervane while production, injection and control risers remain connected. Stabilised crude is exported to tankers through the vessel’s offshore offloading system. TEN gas flows through a dedicated subsea export line to a seabed connection manifold linking the TEN and Jubilee systems, then enters the 12-inch Jubilee–Atuabo Gas Pipeline and reaches the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant.
