Syd Arne WHPE supports multiple well slots and manifold headers that collect hydrocarbon fluids from the reservoir. These flows are sent via bridge and flowlines to the South Arne main platform where separation of oil, gas, and water takes place. WHPE does not possess substantial separation or compression facilities; rather it serves as a tie-in node to the processing hub. The platform contains basic utilities such as electrical distribution linked to the central site and remote control systems; no living quarters are present. Safety infrastructure includes emergency shutdown systems, pipeline pigging facilities, and corrosion control measures. Hydrocarbon export from the main site is through subsea export pipeline systems and SAL for oil, and dedicated pipelines for gas to shore. Structural design is a fixed steel jacket with strong riser support and platform access provisions.
