Syd Arne WHPN comprises well slots drilled into chalk reservoirs, collecting fluids for transport to the central South Arne processing platform (SA) via bridge or short tie-backs. It hosts wellhead manifolds, flowlines and subsea isolation systems; no primary processing occurs onboard. Oil and gas are routed to the SA main platform where multiphase separation, emulsion breaking, and gas compression occur before export. Oil is stabilized and then exported using a subsea oil export system and single anchor leg mooring (SAL), while gas is sent ashore via a long-distance export pipeline to Nybro. Utilities on WHPN are limited to power distribution and control systems linked to SA; there is no accommodation module. Safety systems include emergency shutdown valves, fire and gas detection, and remote monitoring. Stable features include fixed jacket structure with corrosion protection, well control systems, and pipeline/riser support.
