Dan FG is a fixed steel jacket processing platform in the Dan oil field, Danish North Sea, commissioned circa 2004 as part of a later phase of field development. It functions as a processing hub for oil, gas and water from Dan and connected satellite fields, with export routes to onshore and nearby installations. It connects physically into the wider Dan/Gorm/Tyra infrastructure.

Field
The Dan field is one of the oldest Danish North Sea oil and associated gas fields, discovered in 1971 and producing since 1972 from Upper Cretaceous Danian chalk reservoirs. Located ~200-km west of Esbjerg, it has multiple satellite accumulations (Kraka, Regnar) tied into the main complex. The reservoir produces oil with gas, supporting long-term recovery through phased infrastructure additions.
Facilities
Dan FG hosts separation and processing facilities for fluids delivered from Dan field wellheads and satellites. It includes multiphase separators, water treatment and gas conditioning modules that prepare hydrocarbons for export. The platform integrates produced-water handling systems and export metering. Oil export typically occurs via pipelines tied into Gorm or direct Dan export lines to shore; gas is routed into Tyra West and other export networks, integrating with Danish Underground Consortium infrastructure. Power generation units and utilities supply process and safety systems; fire, gas detection, and emergency shutdown systems are core stable components. Dan FG's structural design is a conventional four-leg jacket supporting topsides equipment and service modules. Its connection into the Dan cluster helps centralize processing from multiple wellheads and extend field life.
