Halfdan B's role includes multiphase separation, riser and wellhead functions, and significant accommodation facilities. It operates in concert with Halfdan A's processing systems, sharing power generation, water handling and compression systems. Inter-platform bridges house control rooms and utilities for integrated operations. Subsea and topside pipelines connect Halfdan B to A and C for fluid sharing and export routing. Control systems, fire and gas detection, and utility systems are typical of large offshore hubs handling oil, gas, water and injection services.
