Halfdan A is the main fixed steel bridge-linked platform in the Halfdan complex in the Danish North Sea, producing both oil and gas since around 2000. It serves as a central hub for processing, separation and export, linked to other Halfdan platforms (B and C).

Field
The Halfdan field is a large chalk oil and gas accumulation in the southwestern Danish North Sea (Blocks 5505/13 & 5505/16), discovered in 1998 and developed as a multi-platform complex with nearby satellites Sif and Igor tied into the central Halfdan infrastructure.
Facilities
Halfdan A supports numerous production and injection wells, with onboard facilities for two-phase and three-phase separation, gas compression, water handling and export. It is bridge-linked to Halfdan B and connected via subsea pipes to Halfdan C. Oil and gas from Halfdan A and its satellites are routed through the Halfdan processing trains with utilities including power generation, produced water treatment and injection systems. Export infrastructure includes pipelines transporting oil to the Gorm hub and gas to Tyra West for processing and onward export. Accommodation and control systems support ongoing operations.
