Syd Arne
Syd Arne (South Arne) is a combined wellhead, processing and accommodation installation in the Danish sector of the North Sea, producing both oil and gas. Commissioned in 1999, it has integrated separation and water treatment facilities, and oil export via subsea storage and tanker loading, plus gas export by pipeline to Nybro onshore.

Field
The South Arne field is a conventional chalk reservoir located in Blocks 5604/29 & 5604/30 in the central Danish North Sea. Discovered in 1969, it produces oil with associated gas. Development comprises multiple wellhead platforms feeding a central processing hub with storage and export infrastructure.
Facilities
The Syd Arne installation consists of a main combined wellhead, processing and accommodation platform on a concrete gravity base and steel topsides, bridged to additional wellhead platforms (SA WHPE and SA WHPN). Drilled wells include oil producers and water injection wells. Processing functions include three-phase separation, oil storage in subsea tank, produced water treatment and reinjection, and gas compression. Oil export is via single anchor leg mooring (SAL) to shuttle tankers; gas is exported through a subsea pipeline to Nybro and into onshore networks. Utilities include substantial power generation for processing and accommodation, water treatment systems for injection, fire and gas systems, and control systems for integrated operations. The complex also supports accommodation facilities for offshore personnel.
