Field
The Valdemar field is a chalk reservoir in the Danish North Sea developed for oil and associated gas, discovered in 1977/1985 and first produced in 1993. Its development comprises several fixed platforms interlinked by bridges.
Facilities
Valdemar AA hosts multiple production wells accessing the field's chalk reservoir. It is bridge-linked to adjacent platforms (such as Valdemar AB) and forms part of the field's processing and export infrastructure. Valdemar separates oil and gas at field processing facilities before exporting liquids via multiphase pipelines to the Tyra East complex and gas via pipelines to Tyra West. The platform includes basic separation and well control systems, utility support, power generation, and communications. Inter-platform bridges house control rooms and link into export infrastructure. Produced water handling, fire and gas detection, and accommodations are provided as part of the Valdemar cluster.
