Dan B is the primary processing and accommodation platform in the original Dan Bravo complex in the Danish North Sea, installed in 1972. It receives production from wellhead platforms (Dan A, Dan D, Dan E) and supports crude oil and associated gas processing, personnel quarters, and export routing. Dan B is a cornerstone of the Dan field's early infrastructure.

The Dan field's reservoir consists of Upper Cretaceous chalk with oil and associated gas, developed through a network of platforms. Dan B forms the processing heart of the early Dan Bravo complex, contributing to one of Denmark's most historically significant offshore developments.
Facilities
Dan B features multi-phase separation trains that handle oil, gas and water from adjacent wellhead platforms. Processing includes three-phase separation, initial gas conditioning and routing of fluids for further treatment or export. The platform also houses accommodation modules, control rooms, and utilities for personnel support, including power generation, water treatment, HVAC systems, and emergency systems. Well fluids processed at Dan B are conditioned prior to export: stabilized oil flows via offshore pipelines to the Gorm E riser platform for shipment to shore, and gas is routed to the Tyra hub for central conditioning and onward export. Safety systems comprise extensive fire and gas detection, emergency shutdown controls, and integrated SCADA for coordinated field management. Dan B integrates with subsea and topside pipelines, bridges to Dan A and Dan D, and shared utilities, reflecting modular hub-and-spoke design typical of early North Sea developments.
