The Neptune development is based in the Atwater Valley area and is associated with deepwater sandstone reservoirs. The development concept focuses on subsea tie-backs to a central host platform rather than multiple floating structures.
Facilities
As no standalone Neptune spar exists as an operational production facility, infrastructure is centred on the Neptune TLP. Subsea wells are tied back to the TLP via flowlines, risers, and umbilicals. Processing, export, and utility systems are all located on the TLP, including separation, gas compression, and export pipelines (Caesar and Cleopatra systems). Any reference to a Neptune spar generally relates to early development concepts rather than a built installation.
