Perdido
Perdido is a deepwater spar platform located in Alaminos Canyon Block 857 in the Gulf of Mexico. First production began in 2010. It is one of the deepest offshore production facilities in the world and acts as a regional hub, processing oil and gas from multiple fields and exporting via pipelines to shore.

Field
The Perdido development includes fields such as Great White, Silvertip, and Tobago, located in the western Gulf of Mexico near the U.S.-Mexico border. Reservoirs are Wilcox (Lower Tertiary) sandstones with complex geological characteristics. The development represents a large-scale ultra-deepwater project.
Facilities
The Perdido spar is installed in approximately 7,800 ft (2,380 m) of water, making it one of the deepest spar platforms globally. It processes production from subsea wells tied back from multiple fields via long-distance flowlines and risers. Subsea boosting systems are used to enhance production from low-pressure reservoirs. Topsides facilities include separation, oil stabilization, and gas compression. Oil is exported via a 111-mile pipeline to the Hoover-Diana system and onward to onshore terminals. Gas is exported through the Perdido gas pipeline into U.S. transmission networks. Produced water is treated before discharge. The platform includes advanced control systems, power generation via gas turbines, and extensive subsea infrastructure including manifolds and umbilicals. The spar is moored using a catenary mooring system designed for ultra-deepwater conditions.
